Custom Field Requirement for Meeting Actions
In order to more accurately track the types of meetings you're having with donors and prospects, Valeria and I have added a new required field when entering an NXT Action where the category is Meeting.
This new field, an Action Custom Field, will capture whether the meeting happened in person, over the phone or virtually. Fundraisers should use the Action Category "Meeting" for significant touches with a constituent. Lighter touches and follow-ups that take place over the phone should have the Category of "Phone".
The steps below detail how to add this new Action Custom Field in web view. Note that adding this action is critical and will inform future KPI reporting to Kim.
How to add Meeting Type to Actions:
Create new action on a constituent record
Select Action Category "Meeting"
Complete Action Details as usual
Click Custom Fields > Add Custom Field
Select Category "Meeting Type" > select appropriate option from Value dropdown
