Request a New Business Solution
If you would like to upgrade a current business solution, replace a third party software, or have an idea of how you can make an existing solution work better, you can submit a request to the IS Department to build a new tool for your office or department. We can build many things in-house, and it is usually faster and more affordable than adopting a third party software. The following are examples of why you might want to reach out to IS to make a request:
- Too much manual data entry (i.e. copy and paste) is consuming your team's resources
- Outdated technology is cumbersome or no longer fulfills your team's needs
- Third party software is too expensive
- Data integrity is suffering due to too many files/tools or data redundancy
- The excel spreadsheets just aren't cutting it anymore!
The steps for getting your new solution built is as follows:
- Submit your request via the IS/IT Support Form
- The IS Team will evaluate your request and prioritize it in the queue
- You will receive a notification with the status of your request
- If your request is approved, the IS Team will provide a timeline for development, then reach out when it's time to begin working on your new solution

Fill out each of the questions to the best of your knowledge. You don't have to have a solution in mind to the issue you're experiencing, as we can figure that part out. Just give as much information as possible regarding the objective, current workarounds, and problems that the existing solution is causing. All of this information helps us to determine the priority of the request and possible solutions we can implement.
